Get to know me... Bob Genes

As the founder of R. E. Genes & Associates, Bob Genes is a second-generation manufacturer’s representative. Having earned a B.A. from St. Vincent’s College, Bob opened his own heating and plumbing rep firm, Emerald Sales, in 1989. The philosophy of representing a superior product line and providing optimal customer service helped this family run business flourish. In 2001, Bob sold his interest in Emerald Sales. At the time of sale, his company was representing over 15 diverse product lines.

Always looking to be affiliated with outstanding products, Bob accepted a position with Snap On Tools as Seminar Specialist and Diagnostic Sales Developer. He proudly represented and sold Snap On in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia for over 4 years.

Now as R. E. Genes & Associates, Bob is proud to represent Mitchell 1. The first choice of Automotive Professionals.

As a life long resident of Western Pennsylvania, Bob and his wife, Laurie, currently reside in Munhall where they are active members of St. Therese R. C. Church and are visible members of the community.
